I’m back! after about 3 weeks offline, I came back to about 300 ‘fun emails’ aka unread Substacks. I’ve spent this week catching up on industry news and attempting to get back into a routine. As someone who loves being online, I highly recommend taking a 1-3 week break from the internet at least once a year. It’s good for the soul!
The first thing I noticed when I logged back on was that it seemed like everyone was drinking Ballerina Farm’s protein powder. Was I influenced to try? Absolutely. But Ritual’s vanilla protein powder will always be my favorite.

Graza hosted Thanksgiving with the Standard Grill. They launched with a VIP/influencer event then opened the reservations for the public for the whole week. I saw posts from creators like Peyton Dix, Hunter Harris, Igee Okafor, and many more. A great way to show up ahead of Thanksgiving, as holiday events are beginning.
Speaking of dinner, J. Crew x Westman Atelier created a beautiful holiday shopping experience this week followed by an intimate dinner with influencers. Loved seeing this come to life after Casey, who leads Westman Atelier’s influencer strategy, mentioned in my latest interview that J.Crew was a dream partner!
Alex Mill released their second line of ‘Pajimmies’ in partnership with Jimmy Fallon. They originally launched in 2020 but decided to have a second edition as they opened their new store at Rockefeller Center near Jimmy Fallon’s show. They teased the launch on social, announced the partnership on Jimmy Fallon, held an event at the new Rockefeller store with Jimmy Fallon and Mickey Drexler and gifted influencers for UGC to circulate during launch. It led me to Madeline Swanson’s Instagram and I’m simply obsessed with the way she styled Alex Mill stripes in the past.
Tory Burch hosted an influencer Friendsgiving event with a white elephant gift exchange. Many of the influencers in the room also attended their fashion show in September.

And Paige Lorenze’s Dairy Boy brand is entering into the kitchen space ahead of Thanksgiving. This week she gifted the Ditch Oven to other creators.
Other things I saw this week: Still Here hosted a holiday dinner with influencers, mainly on Substack, like Laura Riley, Christina Grasso, and Jess Graves (I really want that lighter), Emilia Petrarca hosted an event at the new Ganni store on Madison, and Markarian hosted a dinner at the Mayflower Inn in Connecticut to unveil their holiday decorations collab. I imagine the next month of influencer news will be a continuation of holiday gift guides and events!
