Rhode seeded their new mist to influencers, their “testing panel,” to try the product and leave reviews ahead of launch. The mist waitlist launches tomorrow, Monday June 9th.
Laura Mercier hosted influencers at their Reset at the Ranch retreat in upstate New York. SET provided workout sets for a class, Le Specs gifted sunglasses and a few other brands were mentioned as gifted partners.
Gap partnered with Malbon, an approachable golf brand combining tradition with innovation. To launch the collaboration, they hosted the Gap Malbon Invitational with a mix of about 100 influencers. I asked Kyrsten Stoll, Gap’s Brand Communications & PR Manager, how the event came to life.
“What’s so fun about working on brand collaborations is the merging of worlds. This activation allowed us to bring the Gap x Malbon world to life IRL in a way that brought such energy to the collaboration ahead of launch.
We worked with the Malbon team on a curated invite list of ~100 guests who spanned fashion, culture, sports, music, and entertainment — from seasoned golfers to first-timers. We cultivated the guest list with the spirit of our Gap x Malbon Generation Golf campaign in mind, which celebrates the future of golf culture and individuality of style.
The way we structured the day was intentional and immersive, with natural branded elements from the locker room to the course. The beautiful setting at Plainfield Country Club lent itself to countless content opportunities. As a brand that celebrates originality, our favorite part was seeing how everyone took the gifted collection pieces and made them their own. We’ve been blown away by the volume of organic social posts from attendees during and after the event, all driving buzz in the days leading up to the official collection launch.”
The next day, I saw lifestyle influencer Natalie Simkin post a gift from Veronica Beard that included tennis gear. Over the past few years, country club sports like golf and tennis have seen a noticeable rise in popularity. Even for brands that don’t make sport-specific products, it’s smart to collaborate with a credible name in the space or tap into the aesthetic for influencer moments that feel culturally relevant.
Do we think Veronica Beard taking a group of influencers to the US Open this year?
Paige DeSorbo just announced the launch of her new pajama line, Daphne—an influencer brand that actually makes sense. While we won’t be seeing her on Summer House anymore, it’s hard to think about Paige on the show without picturing her in pajamas, in bed with Ciara, scrolling TikToks and recapping the week. So it feels only natural that she’d launch a pajama brand of her own.
Two different red gingham influencer designed collabs dropped this week:
@alifewellsaved x ricki beach club
@rainylancaster x Eddy
Other things I saw this week: Another #refinresidence started this week with
and Sydney Silverman - Merit, Drunk Elephant and Ouai gifted products, Halley Kate collaborated with Liaison The Label on an activewear collection, Charlotte Tilbury is the first official beauty partner of the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, Paige Lorenze’s brand, Dairy Boy hosted a Polo event in Connecticut, and Shopbop x Farm Rio hosted an event in the Hamptons.Things I’ve been influenced by: I’ve been eyeing the Tory Burch tank ever since I saw it on
and but didn’t want to splurge. Instead, I bought this tank at Reformation and this floral clip at Free People. Will keep you posted on my DIY tank, but I am loving the Reformation tanks on their own.
